Organizing Event Judges

It's time to take the next step in organizing your event! After specifying the criteria for judging the entries, let's move forward by adding judges to the panel. Contestiva makes this process simple and efficient, allowing you to invite as many judges as needed for your event. Here's how you can do it seamlessly:

Accessing the Event Homepage

1. Navigating to Event Homepage: Click on the event home button to return to the event homepage. You'll notice that several tasks on your checklist have already been completed, marking progress in the organization process.

Adding Judges with Contestiva

1. Step 1: :Navigate to your program's dashboard on Contestiva. Click on the "Add Judges" tab to open the judge management section.
2. Step 2: Enter the judge’s full name and email address into the provided fields. For example, if you wish to invite a judge named Satoshi, type in their name and email (e.g., judge1@mail.com), then click the "Add" button.

The invited judge will immediately receive an email containing:

• A unique login link to access Contestiva.
• A default password provided in the email. If the invited judge already has an existing Contestiva account, the email will not include a new password; instead, it will instruct them to log into their existing account to access the event.

Important:

• Judges do not need to create an account themselves or input additional personal information.
• They only need to click the provided link and enter the default password included in their invitation email. Judges can reset their password after logging in if they wish.
• Once logged in, judges can directly review and evaluate the applications assigned to them.



3. Step 3 (optional): Repeat the process to add additional judges as necessary. For example, to invite another judge, simply enter the name and email address and then click "add judge", each judge will receive an email with a login link and a different default password to access the program.

1. Access to Entries: Once added, judges will have access to the entries submitted for the event. They can use the evaluation criteria specified earlier to assess each entry thoroughly.
2. Utilizing Evaluation Criteria: Judges will employ the criteria established in the previous step to evaluate the entries effectively. This ensures a fair and comprehensive review process for all submissions.
